About the Doughboys
The Light Crust Doughboys are The State of Texas' Official Music Ambassadors named by the entire State of Texas Legislature and are inductees in the Texas Cowboy, Texas Western Swing, Rockabilly, Texas Music, Texas Radio, and Cowtown Society of Western Music Halls of Fame, and more!
Led by Grammy Award-Winning artist and producer, Art Greenhaw on bass, guitar, piano and vocals, The Light Crust Doughboys also star virtuoso instrumentalists and singers: Dion Pride (son of Charley Pride) on vocals, guitar and keyboards, Western Swing Hall of Fame Inductee violinist Jim Baker who also sings and plays banjo; Marek Eneti --Eastern European electric and acoustic violin virtuoso; and Randy Wills (descendant of original Light Crust Doughboy Bob Wills) on keyboards and bass. Master rhythm guitarist and vocalist Kristyn Harris has become the youngest member of The Light Crust Doughboys since the days of rockin' Ronnie Dawson 6 decades past!
The Light Crust Doughboys have played and conquered prestigious festivals and concert halls throughout Texas and the entire the United States, have toured Austria, and make frequent television appearances.
